Privacy notice

TARA studio respects your privacy. This notice explains what personal data we collect on tarastudioarq.com, what we use it for and how you can exercise your rights, in line with Colombian data protection law (Ley 1581 de 2012 and Decreto 1377 de 2013).

What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, message and the language you viewed the site in.
- Direct contact: whatever you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp.
- Analytics: pages visited, device and browser, approximate city or country, how you reached the site, and actions such as sending the form or tapping the WhatsApp, email, phone or Instagram links.
- Language: your country, to show the site in Spanish or English, and the language you choose.
- Server logs: IP address, date, page requested and browser, as any website records.
What we use it for
We use your data only to:
- Answer your messages and prepare proposals.
- Understand how the site is used, so we can improve it.
- Keep the site secure and running.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your data. We share it only with the services that run the site, some of which process it outside Colombia, mainly in the United States:
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which delivers contact form messages to our inbox.
- Google Analytics, by Google LLC, which measures how the site is used with cookies.
- country.is, which receives your IP address and returns only your country. We do not keep the IP address.
- Our hosting provider, whose server runs the site.
- WhatsApp, by Meta, if you message us there.
Cookies and browser storage
Google Analytics sets the _ga and _ga_* cookies to tell visits apart; they last up to two years. You can block or delete them in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
We also store in your browser the language you choose and, for the length of your visit, your country. That information is not sent to us.
How long we keep it
We keep messages and emails for as long as we need them to handle your request or the project that follows from it. Analytics data is kept for the period set in Google Analytics, and server logs for a limited time.
Your rights
As the owner of your data you can, free of charge:
- Access, update and correct your data.
- Ask for proof of the authorization you gave us.
- Ask how we have used your data.
- Withdraw your authorization or ask us to delete your data.
- File a complaint with the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC), Colombia’s data protection authority.
How to exercise them
Email us at the address above with the subject “Personal data”. We answer requests for information within 10 business days and complaints within 15 business days, as the law requires.
Authorization
By sending the contact form or writing to us directly, you authorize us to process your data for the purposes in this notice. You can withdraw that authorization at any time.
Children
This site is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we will publish the new version on this page with its update date.
